The festival has a special theatre (Korona Teátrum) as well, built of wood just like in the time of Shakespeare. The town of Nyírbátor was named after a Hungarian noble family called Báthory, whose crest animal is a dragon. You can also meet artisans who bring their beautiful handmade products to this oustanding festival. Those who spend more time here, can enjoy the extensive services of the renovated Sárkány (means Dragon) Wellness and Spa, or visit the neighbouring shrine in Máriapócs, the watermill in Túristvándi, the medieval churches at Nyírmihálydi, Tákos and Csaroda or take a visit to Carei (Nagykároly), Romania where they can have a look at the renovated Károlyi Castle.
